Information we collect

Information you provide to us. When you contact us or use our services, you may share:

• Your name and contact details, such as phone number, WhatsApp number and email address.
• Information about your child, such as their name, date of birth, year group, current school and curriculum.
• Your preferences and requirements, such as budget, preferred areas, curriculum and start date.
• Documents you send us to support an application, such as school reports, passport copies, residence visa or Emirates ID, birth certificates and immunisation records.
• Any information you choose to share about your child’s learning needs or the support they require.

Some of this information, such as details relating to a child’s learning needs or health, is sensitive. We only collect it where you provide it to us, and only to help find a suitable school for your child.

Information we collect automatically. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies on our website. Our website host may keep basic technical logs, such as an IP address, for security and to keep the site running. If we introduce analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy.

How we use your information

We use your information only to provide and improve our services, including to:

• Assess which schools may be suitable for your child and build a shortlist.
• Communicate with schools and prepare and submit applications on your behalf, where you have asked us to.
• Help prepare your child for school assessments.
• Keep you updated and respond to your messages.
• Meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use your information for any unrelated purpose, and we do not sell it.

Sharing your information

We are independent and paid only by families, never by schools. We do not receive commission or payment from any school, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

We share information only in these limited ways:

• With schools, we share only the information needed to make an application or enquiry for your child, and only where you have asked us to approach schools on your behalf.
• With service providers who help us run our business, such as secure file storage, scheduling and messaging tools. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
• Where required by law, such as to comply with a legal obligation or a request from a competent authority.

Children’s information

We take particular care with children’s personal data. We collect it only with the consent of a parent or guardian, only where it is needed to provide our service, and we keep it secure. We only share a child’s information with a school where the parent or guardian has asked us to pursue that school.

How we store and protect your information

We store your information securely and limit access to those who need it to provide the service. Wherever possible we keep documents in secure, access-controlled storage rather than loose in email. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as we are providing you with a service, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return or for our legal and record-keeping needs. When it is no longer needed, we delete it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, as set out below.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
• Stop using your information, or withdraw a consent you have given.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process information outside the United Arab Emirates. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information remains protected.

Data protection in the UAE

We handle personal data in line with applicable United Arab Emirates data protection law.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated.
